Take 2: The new 'Lady Oriented' trailer of Lipstick Under My Burkha is out!

Lipstick Under My Burkha's new trailer is out and well, to put it mildly, this is what we call taking the bull by its horns! The unapologetic trailer revels in the controversy that has surrounded it, it boasts of being a film that you absolutely need to watch and well, plugs in the fact that it has already won 11 awards internationally!


The cheeky trailer takes a dig at Central Board of Film Certification which had called the film many things. Here's a taste: The story is lady oriented, their fantasy above life. There are contagious sexual scenes, abusive words, audio pornography and a bit sensitive touch about one particular section of society, hence film refused under guidelines (sic)...


The film was finally granted an 'A' certificate last month. It was approved after the Film Certificate Appellate Tribunal directed the Censor Board to do so.
