Netflix released a teasing teaser of the much-anticipated Our Souls At Night and it will make you fall in love with love! A simple minute throws so much light into this love story that emerges between two ageing neighbours; both widowers. Set to the legendary Etta James’ A Sunday Kind of Love, the teaser makes the promise of a film, which will make simple cinema look great!

Set in the small town of Holt, Colorado, the film follows the lives of Addie Moore and Louis Waters as they reach out to each other in search of companionship and perhaps something more, in their twilight years.

The film has been adapted from a novel of the same name by Kent Haruf. It has been adapted for the screen by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber.

Starring the legendary Academy Award winners Jane Fonda and Robert Redford, Our Souls At Night is part of the Out of Competition section of the 74th edition of the Venice International Film Festival and will release on Netflix on September 29.

The last time the pair got together, it was in the 1979-film The Electric Horseman by Sydney Pollack. However, it is Barefoot In The Park (1967) that the duo is probably most known for.

P.S.: Talking to Ellen DeGeneres, Fonda had this to say about her connection with Robert Redford: "I fell in love every time, so if a day went by when he wouldn’t speak to me . . . there were days when he wouldn’t speak to me unless it was part of the script. I always took it personally: ‘What if he doesn’t like me? I did something wrong.’"
