About the Project: The final aim in case of the disabled is to provide them constructive occupation and/or gainful employment in order to render them useful limbs of the society. This will help improve the outlook towards them and also provide a goal for the disabled. Most important, these centers/workshops can later add on residential hostel facilities thus alleviating the most grave concern of parents of the disabled, "What after we are gone?"

About: New Dawn is a charitable Trust whose primary objective is promoting the cause of the disabled, be it education, training, vocation, shelter and other attending needs. Ashadeep Special School was its initiative and New dawn continues to assist the school and special children elsewhere.
Ashadeep is a school for children with special needs, handicapped by mental disability, cerebral palsy, multiple disabilities, hearing impairment, partial visual impairment, spina bu fida, autism, dyslexia and behavioural and emotional disorders.
The school is operated and run by New Dawn Ashadeep Education Society, with the active backing of the New Dawn Charitable Trust and infrastructural assistance from the Mormugao Port Trust. The Staff consists of trained Special Educators, assisting Voluntary teachers, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Physical Education Teacher, Dance Teacher/Choreographer, ancillary staff and Office manager.
It has been established, that, with care, encouragement, the right guidance and training, the special children can become productive members of the society.

FCRA Registrtion No.: New Dawn is not FCRA certified, hence any donation made to New Dawn by a Foreign National will be given to another FCRA certified NGO that is a part of the same marathon/Gift Registry, or any other FCRA certified NGO chosen by Wishberry.in
