About: Udayan Care is an Indian Non-Profit Organization with its head office in New-Delhi. Our vision is to ‘regenerate the lives of the disadvantaged’, particularly children and women and we are committed to sustainable social development. Our theory of change is: "Every child a home and education, every adult the dignity of self reliance and the desire to give back to society."

Cause: Higher Education. Ocational Training, Capacity Building of Women, Others- Long term residential home for children in need of care & protection (For Children who are orphaned, abandoned or at risk)

Vision: To regenerate the Rhythm of life of the disadvantaged

Appeal: Through the ADHM 2012 we are seeking support for building an Udayan Ghar for 12 of our Udayan girls in Delhi. These young girls have faced traumatic pasts either having lost their family or having been abandoned by them. They found their Home of Joy at Udayan Ghar, Chattarpur which promised to be their Sunshine Home. But their joy was short lived. Since the home did not belong to Udayan Care, the little ones were soon shunted out by the owner, due to no fault of theirs. We appeal to Delhi-ites to participate with us and Run to Build Hope, Happiness, a Secure Future and a Home for our Girls. In short we are asking them to Run to Build a Childhood.
