I believe that everyone can dream of a better future for themselves, their families and the whole of society... Kamalini has been helping hundreds of underprivileged women to pursue their dreams by providing them encouragement, vocational skills, basic education, thereby not just increasing their income-generation possibilities but also boosting their self-esteem and confidence. It´s amazing to see how quickly and steadily Kamalini has grown!! It's a wonderful project where promoters, staff, teachers, students and all kind of volunteers (senior and young professionals, housewives, college students, etc) have one aim: a thriving future for ALL.
Maria Fernandez has been in India for the past seven years and is currently working in Kamalini as the Public Relations and Fund-raising Manager. Back in Perú, her native country, she worked for the upliftment of underprivileged women from rural areas.
About: An Initiative from Protsahan Charitable Trust, Kamalini Vocational Training Centre aims to prepare young women to support themselves and better manage their own homes. We help empower women in a friendly and encouraging environment, and continually strive to respond to the needs of the community.
Drawing the name of Sanskrit Word for "encouragement", the founding trustees Protsahan Charitable Trust seek to promote the holistic development of the person through education and services.

Appeal: Kamalini is a project of the non-profit charitable trust Protsahan.
Since 2007, Kamalini has been empowering under privileged young girls and women by providing them employable skills, basic education and entrepreneurship spirit, thereby not just increasing their income-generation possibilities but also boosting their self-esteem and confidence. After training at Kamalini, 68% of the students report increased income for their families.
Main features of Kamalini training methodology are: flexibility and care for students’ real needs, focus on “performing” and not on “Knowing”, emphasis is given on “hands on training” and Individual counseling with an encouraging approach in order to optimize the students’ performance.
