Personal Pledge Message

Hi! I am Manoj Udayan and I came to Udayan Ghar Mayur Vihar when I was 12 years old. I am studying I.T Engineering at Hi –Tech College of Engineering Ghaziabad. I just finished my Class XII boards from the Banyan Tree School Lodhi Road. My target is to raise Rs. 1 lakh by running in the marathon. What makes my run so important is that I am doing it to help Build a Home of Joy that 12 of my little Udayan Sisters can call their very own. They have recently lost their Udayan Ghar because the landlord wanted to give it to someone else. I want them to be happy and comfortable in their very own home just like I have been. Living in the very same home through all my growing up years made me feel comfortable. I came to know the area around the Ghar and could even go out on my own when I grew up, without being lost Please make a generous contribution and help me reach the finishing line Thank you for your support. Your contribution will help all my 12 Little Udayan siblings live with hope and joy in their very own Home of Joy.

Appeal: Through the ADHM 2012 we are seeking support for building an Udayan Ghar for 12 of our Udayan girls in Delhi. These young girls have faced traumatic pasts either having lost their family or having been abandoned by them. They found their Home of Joy at Udayan Ghar, Chattarpur which promised to be their Sunshine Home. But their joy was short lived. Since the home did not belong to Udayan Care, the little ones were soon shunted out by the owner, due to no fault of theirs. We appeal to Delhi-ites to participate with us and Run to Build Hope, Happiness, a Secure Future and a Home for our Girls. In short we are asking them to Run to Build a Childhood.
